The "Erasmus Student Network" (ESN) is a group of students of the Heinrich-Heine-Universität in Düsseldorf. We voluntarily support exchange students at our university. Offering our services in our leisure time, we don't get any money for it at all.
Most of our members are former Erasmus students themselves. That's why we know all experiences that are connected to an exchange semester - as well as any problems that may arise. We hope we're able to support you with our own experiences and want to make your semester abroad to a great and unforgettable period in your life.
We were founded in May 2006 by Benjamin Feyen and Glenn R. Gassen. Those two students had just returned from their own exchange semester in Copenhagen (Denmark) respectively Turku (Finland) and wanted to spread the special "spirit of Erasmus" in their hometown.
ESN Düsseldorf is member of the international organisation "Erasmus Student Network" which exists at more that 250 universities in 33 countries all over Europe.
